Today kicks off the start of the preseason for the NFL with the Hall of Fame game. For the veterans, the Hall of Fame game is an imposition; a game that doesn’t mean much to the regular season and their focus shifts to remaining uninjured. To the rookies and bubble guys on the roster, this game can make or break their NFL careers. Players like the undrafted quarterback, Trevor Knight, could see a lot of playing time in Thursday’s Hall of Fame game. When the backups and roster hopefuls put on their uniform this preseason, every play matters and every play is graded. With the competition fierce, the hits are going to come and if they want to stand out, their going to have to make a big play.
