After a lot of speculation Adele has finally shut all of the rumors down and announced that there’s no chance she will be performing at the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show.
Fans left her concert in Los Angeles disappointed on Saturday after Adele stated, “First of all, I’m not doing the Super Bowl. I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really — I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no.”
Adele initially said that the halftime show has nothing to do with music. It leaves a lot of us wondering what is it all about then?
However, The NFL and Pepsi denied rumors that they offered her the halftime slot. If that is the case then who is it?!?
“We have had conversations with several artists about the Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show. However, we have not at this point extended a formal offer to Adele or anyone else. We are focused on putting together a fantastic show for Houston and we look forward to revealing that in good time.” -The NFL & Pepsi
