Lady Gaga visited a school in Harlem earlier this week to share some kindness. The pop star surprised underprivileged students with gifts including shirts, socks, nail polish, pajamas, and other items the teens may struggle to buy on their own. The students were in absolute shock when they saw the star walk into the room, some even broke into tears.
“I am no better than any of those kids. And I’m no worse than any of them. We are equal. We both walk our two feet on the same earth. And we’re in this together,” Gaga stated. She says she wants to start a campaign to inspire 1 million acts of kindness. “Kindness to me is an action of love, or a showing of love to someone else. I also believe that kindness is the cure to violence and hatred around the world.”
