Jay Z added to his Roc Nation empire with a new startup that helps other startups. The hip-hop mogul calls his new creation Arrive.
In a statement, Neil Sirni, Roc Nation’s head of new ventures, said, “Arrive was created to leverage our experience and resources in building brands, developing consumer facing businesses, managing artists and representing athletes. We’ve opened that diversified, global range of expertise to a new vertical: entrepreneurs and their early stage businesses.”
Working with early-stage startups, the investment platform will offer capital investment as well as assistance with business development, and branding.
Jay Z, whose given name is Shawn Corey Carter, has had his hand in the entrepreneurial world for a while now. He is also an investor in Uber, among other startups.
