Bump Stock Sales Rise In A Post-Vegas Market

Following the terrible shooting in Las Vegas, sales on “Bump Stocks” have seen a tremendous rise due to fears of tighter gun control laws according to retailers. These “Bump Stocks,” the same kind used to modify the shooter’s own weapons uncovered earlier this week, work on a recoil based system, allowing semi-auto rifles to fire at a rate comparable to automatic weaponry. Going for only several hundred dollars, these are completely legal within the U.S., despite presenting obvious loopholes in gun ownership. Organizations such as the NRA have called for further reevaluations on the legality of “Bump Stocks” and similar equipment.
