Week 1 Reactions to Chainsmokers’ Tour

The Chainsmokers had the world waiting with their “Memories Do Not Open…” Tour, and after kicking off the show in Miami on April 13, they have already hit four stops as they make their way up the Eastern United States with stops in Tampa; Charleston, South Carolina; and Charlottesville, Virginia.

When I took to social media and the internet to see how fans have been reacting, I got a few mixed emotions across the board.

With their new tour album reaching No. 1 on the charts — and with teases and announcements from the duo of all these different talents they were bringing along with them — I was surprised to see a story from the Miami New Times. But others seemed quite pleased with the show.

It seems the only way to get the real answer would be to see it for yourself, and there’s still a whole summer to do that. Next stop for the duo is Bridgeport, Connecticut, on April 20.
