Sidney Crosby and Pittsburgh Penguins Are B2B Stanley Cup Champs

By

The Pittsburgh Penguins take the NHL crown for the second year in a row, something that hasn’t been done since the Detroit Red Wings in ’97 and ’98.  Even more unlikely, Sidney Crosby wins back-to-back Conn Smythe trophies as the Stanley Cup Playoff’s MVP.

He is creating a legacy for himself and for his team. Crosby is a three-time Stanley Cup winner, two-time Olympic Gold medal winner, World Junior Championship, World Championships and World Cup of Hockey Gold medal winner. All announcers, commentators and legends agree — though most non-Penguin fans shudder when they hear this — he is skating right onto the unwritten All-Time NHL greats list.

Congratulations to the Pittsburgh Penguins, the 2016-2017 NHL Stanley Cup Champions!
