As of today, Senator John McCain was approved by doctors to return to the Senate chamber as the monumental vote to ‘repeal and replace Obamacare’ is up for vote this afternoon.
This is his first appearance on the Senate floor since his diagnosis of a vicious form of brain cancer. However, Senator John McCain made sure to be present today for the healthcare vote and will now take time to seek treatment at home. After the vote, Senator McCain said, “I have every intention of returning here and giving cause to regret all the nice things you said about me.”
We all wish Senator McCain a full, fast, and healthy recovery.
McCain plans to go home for treatment for a while — but he has "every intention" on coming back to the Senate https://t.co/f1NADjsvHX
