It’s a Party Down in Ft. Lauderdale

The weekend of April 7 was jammed packed with musical talent for the Tortuga Music Festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

The festival began Friday and was not short of big names to start it off. Luke Bryan, Brett Eldredge and Darius Rucker kicked off the festival with a sold-out crowd on the beach.

Saturday featured more superstars as Maren Morris, Chris Stapleton and Nelly continued to please the Ft. Lauderdale crowd.

Sunday is not short of talent as well. Country music superstar Kenny Chesney will be headlining as Alan Jackson and Slightly Stoopid will perform as well.

Although Tortuga is primarily country-music driven, fans of other genres were not disappointed by the other performances.

In addition to the fantastic music being preformed, a portion of the proceeds collected at the festival go toward helping save the oceans. Tortuga has already given thousands of dollars to the Rock The Ocean Foundation, who helps conservation organizations around the world.

Due to the amount of praise this festival as gotten, the anticipation will be greater for the 2018 festival.
