Fan Sues Live Nation for Failing to Reschedule Janet Jackson Tour

Janet Jackson in 2016 had to postpone the last few shows in her Unbreakable tour because she was pregnant with her son Eissa, who was born in January 2017. Some venues offered refunds to fans who had purchased tickets, but others refused as those shows had technically been postponed and not cancelled.

The shows have since not been rescheduled. Tiana Adams, the fan who brought on the suit, is claiming that LiveNation is attempting to avoid giving refunds by saying that the shows are “postponed” and not “cancelled.” Since Jackson is not only busy with her baby but also with a divorce, it seems unlikely that these shows will be happening any time soon.
