“All Eyez On Me” The Tupac Biopic to Close 2017 American Black Film Festival

The Tupac Biopic All Eyez On Me has been chosen to close out the 2017 American Black Film Festival on June 17. It’s one day after the wide release of the film and what would have been Tupac’s 46th birthday.

The film stars Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac himself and for any Walking Dead fans out there, Dunai Gurira and Lauren Cohan
(Michonne and Maggie respectively), star as Tupac’s mother Afeni Shakur and Tupac’s first manager Leila Steinburg.

The film directed by Benny Boom will chronicle the life of one of the most influential and heralded rappers of all time just like Notorius did for friend turned rival Biggie Smalls. I’m am one that is looking forward to it and will definitely go see it. Here is a trailer to peak  your interest for All Eyez On Me.
